The lease on their building is up in 21 months -the rent currently is $600 a month but the new landlord demands $1,700 a month. Yikes! Thatís too rich for their members! They are now looking for a new home, one that will allow us to reflect Spokane history.
Renting is the problem when you don't own the building, the rent always goes up and layouts don't move easily. The new building could be made into a railroad commemorative structure with the layout and a video studio to show the good side of railroads in communicating safety and value to the railroads efforts. They are applying for a 501C3 nonprofit status for this effort.
